The Colorado Hispanic History Museum, approved as a “Signature Initiative” by the America 250 Colorado 150 Commission, is a transformative project led by Colorado’s Latino/Hispanic communities. This museum will preserve and celebrate Hispanic heritage, showcasing historical narratives often overlooked, while serving as a vibrant educational hub. Strategically located on the Auraria Campus, it aims to become a cultural cornerstone for Colorado and the nation.

With strong support from the State of Colorado, the Colorado Hispanic/Latino Fund, and Auraria Higher Education, the museum will create an inclusive space for learning and celebrating the significant contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities throughout history.

How I Contributed
